World Book Day 2019

Our school celebrated World Book Day on Thursday, 7th of March 2019. All the children brought in their favourite book on the day. Well done to all the children for bringing in such a wide variety of books. Senior Infants & 2nd class also visited our local library where they listened to a story by author Patricia Clarkson. Thanks to the staff of the library for inviting the children down to listen to the story.

Credit Union Quiz 2019

Pictured below are two of our teams who entered the Credit Union quiz. They came third in a group of 11-12 different teams. The first group below came third in the U-13s group and the next team came third in the U-11s. They were exceptionally well behaved and worked very hard showing fantastic teamwork skills. They did really well as the questions were tough! Maith sibh and a big 'well done' to the other two teams who weren't far behind.
